This review is from: Curtis-Smith: Second Piano Trio; Fantasy Pieces; Sweetgrass Trio; Sextet for Piano and Winds (Audio CD)
Curtis-Smith has some very good chamber pieces here. He is even the pianist in some of them. This is well worth getting if you are thinking about conservative living composers. There are no duds here. Some pieces come well of at first better than others. Nothing really popular or knee slapping...I can hum that piece now that I've heard it kind of thing. But good solid fundamental solid pieces for the serious and sober listener to consider. Five Stars
