5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best CDs ever, May 18, 2005

This review is from: Curves of Life (Audio CD)
This is hot stuff. On my top ten list ever since it came out. The 5 elements (alas without David Gilmore) in splendid form. And David Murray gives it just the little extra. One of the best versions of "Round Midnight" ever recorded. Dense, intense, and plenty of groove.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unflippingbelievable!, February 5, 2000
This review is from: Curves of Life (Audio CD)
The mixed-meter final cut, with David Murray blowing the end off his horn and amazing rappers, is worth a million. Some of the best outside playing since the Sixties, but with uncanny discipline and energy. Drop what you're doing and buy a copy right now. You'll thank me!
