At my workplace we had a person speak to us about ergonomics. He changed our work stations to fit our bodies. One thing that happened was that my feet were left dangling from my chair (I'm rather short). He said I needed to get an adjustable foot rest.
So I scoured the internet. I didn't want something that would be big and plastic. Most of the models seemed to be like that.
I chose this because it can be flipped upside down. Now that I have this footrest, this is how I keep it. I rock my feet often. I like that it's soft, too. I am able to get it very close to my chair, if I want it that way. The foam is just the right thickness, and I think it's great that the fabric can be washed. I love this product!

I've had two other footrests that cost twice as much. This one is the best, most comfortable, easy to use, and most affordable.

Believe it or not, my first experience with this foot rest was when I was breast-feeding my children. It was recommended in the baby books to help you get your feet (and your lap) in the right position to support the baby.

But after I returned to work, I took this with me and have been using it ever since. I like using both sides depending on whether I feel like rocking my feet or if I just want to have a solid foundation.

The nice thing is that it isn't cold (I kick off my shoes at work), it doesn't break, it isn't limited in the number of positions it can take... it is just a lo-tech piece of foam that makes your life more comfortable... what more could you ask for!

It even makes a good lap pillow for supporting a heavy book while reading.

Forget all the fancy "massaging" footrests and just go this one. You'll have everything you need.

This product works both flat on the ground or in a rocking position. Material is good quality with little rubber bumps to make it skid proof. Use it everyday at work and am very happy.

I just got my foot cushion, and it is wonderful. What a concept! For the last year I've kept a giant art history textbook under my desk to use as a footrest, because the footrests that were available looked ungainly, and the book worked okay. Because of my particular situation with my quirky, homemade desk, this cushion allows me to use my office chair at a better height, and also works beautifully when I use my chair at a drafting table height. The cushion also works as a knee support. I often work sitting on the floor, and the cushion works better than a regular pillow under my knees. There are a couple cons: I am 5'9", and the cushion might be a little too high. It's great when I have my chair up high, but I would like another cushion that is 4" high instead of 6". Also, this cushion was hard to find on Amazon and does not come up immediately with the key words 'foot rest.' I bet Safco would sell even more of these if they changed the name or their keywords

I really like that this foot rest can be flipped either way to provide a roundedrest or a flat rest. I also like that it's cuchiony so that my foot doesn't rest funny when I wear heels (The cushion has a lot of give so I don't have to worry about puncturing the foot rest with my heel).

I am 5' 4'' which i think is slightly below average height. I sometimes get hamstring tendon pain after sitting for long periods of time with my legs either dangling and not touching the floor or oddly stretched when sitting on a couch in order to have my feet firm on the floor (or I try to sit on the forward edge of the couch so my feet can easily touch the floor, but then my back isn't resting against anything)

At first I looked for the sturdy footrests with hard plastic bases that are adjustable. Many reviews seemed to indicate only mild increase in comfort and poor construction with these footrests. The reviews on this foot cushion were great so I decided to buy this one.

Indeed, with this foot cushion, it's not a problem to sit anywhere: at a desk, at a high table, on the sofa. I am indeed much more comfortable. It's definitely worth the money if you are short and tend to get hamstring tendon, itb or knee pain because your legs are dangling or not firm on the floor. It's comfortable and simply a smart design: sometimes you don't need a complicated solution to fix everyday problems. The simplest ones are usually the best, and this foot cushion is a great example of that.

One final note: this cushion works well with office chairs. When trying to be ergonomically conscious about your workspace, you are able to adjust the chair but you're usually not able to change the height of the desk. You can be comfortable in the chair but the height of the desk my still require that your legs are semi dangling, or simply not firmly planted on the ground. Your knees may be extended or sometimes you can find a ledge to prop your feet up under the desk while you work. This product is perfect for this situation. Get an adjustable chair, any desk you want, and then get this cheap foot cushion to be comfortable working instead of trying to find a desk at the right height for you.

Shipping was amazing. Ordered it on Sunday regular shipping and had it in hand by Wednesday. What I like most is it's very comfortable on your bare feet when you take your shoes off.

I searched Amazon for a footrest to have at work because I sit all day, and after seeing the top rated items, ordered the #1 (this half-cylinder foot cushion), thought I would give it a try. BEST DECISION EVER! Don't waste your money on anything else!! This footrest is so comfortable (I wear it with and without my shoes), very durable, doesn't pick up dirt on the cover, and is made out of quality material. I'm 5'8" and even with my legs propped up on it at a 45 degree angle, my legs fit comfortably under a regular size office desk. It's really light weight, so you can scoot it around under your desk with ease. No kidding, the minute after I had my husband try out the footrest, he said that he loved it, prompting me to order another one that day!! I would recommend this footrest to anyone who sits at a computer for hours on end, or just to have at home under a table for extra comfort. I am so happy with this product!! Not to mention, it is only about $30, which is a far cry from some of the other expensive footrests out there!!

My wife is only 5 feet, so when sitting in a chair for any length of time, she needs a footrest. we searched online and found hundreds, most of which were either too high, too expensive or too ugly. She wanted something that was firm but light, looked good in the living room and was a fair price.

After looking for a long time, we finally found these, which turned out to be better than we expected. They are very light but firm. The removable cover is very good looking, washable and fits in with all the furniture without being too noticeable. You can use them with the flat side down, or with it up so you can roll it around to a comfortable position. We are very pleased with these.
