Editorial Reviews

Time Out New York
FREELOADER brings a sense of purpose to the stage at CBGB 313. Strong original songwriting...

Product Description
...The voice here is defiant; the music seductive. Named after a 1971 Chevy C/10 - Bessie - this album is built for a long haul through the cicada night.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well Worth It, August 6, 2000
By A W T (Charlotte, NC) - See all my reviews
Custom/10 delivers an earnest message built on a foundation raw, skillfully delivered music. Sinclair is a unique blend of poet, social commentator, and melancholy romantic. Custom/10 is from the Old School, and is a must own for those who enjoy WILCO, John Prine, or JJ Cale.

4.0 out of 5 stars Finally, July 30, 2000
By Eleyna Taylor (Chicago, IL) - See all my reviews
I was searching Amazon, looking for that album that might remind me of Country Honk by Mick and the boys, music that no longer exists in the days of the Backstreet Boys. I did not find it, but I am thrilled with what I did find. I am not a critic, I buy a CD and either am into them or discard them quickly. This album fits into the former.....honest music that makes you hit repeat again and again... a bit rough, not from the Juliard school, but something pure that hits you. Look out for these guys, they are on their way to big big things. I just hope they stay true when the labels come calling. Few do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best listened to in a convertible, the wind in your hair
What can you do with bass, guitar and drums? A lot, it turns out. The more country-folky ballads could be straight out of "Heart Songs", the title story in the collection by Annie... Read more
