The material is thin and warps when full.

You're better off going to a Wal-Mart or some other place and paying a buck or two more but making sure what you get isn't a cheap piece of junk.

This spills fluid everywhere if you try to pour from the pan.

It's an Oil drain pan, and that's just what you get.
I'm very happy with my purchase.
Also this oil pan is made in the U.S.A so that's always a plus

I'm OK with the size of the pan although agree it could be a bit larger.

My biggest issue with this drain pan, and why I will be replacing it, is that the spout is too small, so oil drips out when you are pouring the used oil into a jug for recycling. This means you have to pour slowly and carefully to avoid dripping, and even then you usually end up with drips. Why they didn't make the spout larger is beyond me.

Face it - if you are looking at this you need a drain pan for something other than your Maserati. This will do the job.

It is made out of a rather ridged polymer - not recommended for cold weather use as it will be prone to cracking. I had actually thought it would be made of a more pliable material, but that is not the case. Be careful when handling it - it might break just dropping it on the ground. No problems with mine so far though.

Keep in mind that the capacity on this thing is 6 quarts. Capacity IS NOT EQUAL to safe handling volume. I would not recommend trying to use the pour spout on this thing unless it is ~75% full or less due to the chance of spillage and making a darn mess when pouring. If you drive a little four cylinder engine this pan will probably be adequate. If you have a V10 style engine you should find a bigger pan.

This thing does what it says, so it gets four stars. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't buy it, but I would opt for a larger more durable "old style" floppy rubber drain pan (yes, har har). They are pretty much only marketed as animal feeding dishes any more, but I have one of them in a 12 quart size and very much prefer it to this item.

Arrived broken, with a huge chunk that had been knocked out of the side, rendering it completely useless. Putting just a little bit of pressure on other areas of the pan and they cracked/broke almost immediately. You're better off going to a Wal-Mart or some other place and paying a buck or two more but making sure what you get isn't a cheap piece of junk. The only good thing about the whole thing was Amazon didn't make me ship the item back to them to prove that it was broken. They just refunded my money.

I almost always prefer to buy things online when I can, but in this case, go to a store and be done with it. Don't waste your time/money on this one.

I change my own oil and this was very low priced so I shouldn't complain. If I had to redesign it, I would make it a little taller by a few inches. As it is now, 5 quarts of oil fills it to like a half an inch from the top which makes it hard to carry away and empty with no shifting room in the container...

....then you'll get something cheap. The material is thin and warps when full. Another issue is that it isn't exactly big, and without a rolled lip, oil easily sloshes around in it and over the top (my driveway can attest to this). In retrospect I should have spent a couple of bucks more and purchased something built better. Think about it, a few dollars for something you'll actually want to use when taking care of your vehicle? Worth it. This? Not worth it.

It is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Had to stop draining halfway through to empty the pan before draining the last quart or so of oil. I was draining a 2.6l V6 when I used this though and I bed a smaller engined car wouldn't run into this problem, but I would always prefer to have my oil drain pan be too big rather than too small.
