This book is really great and fully explained. It's for the serious modeler wanting to find specific ways to customize. Or the modeler wanting to take that new step further. Anyway it is worth way more than what it costs.

First - I wanna say - I really liked this book. I also appreciate what Mr. Gustavson has and is doing for this hobby. Thank You Mark!
All the customizing basics are covered. Tools, techniques, terminology, theory, and execution are covered very well. One thing that I would like to ring Mark's neck about is that he has NO instructions on how he modified or fabricated the hood! He covered proportions and auto design - but left the hood how-to entirely out of the book! It is a great book - you just need to learn how to pie section a hood somewhere else!

I was intresting. If your into old cars this book is great for you. My facorite part of the book were the hinges tutorial for the doors.
