Custom LeatherCraft's 4-piece carpenter's combo belt comes loaded with features not found in other combo work aprons, like a patented easy-carry handle design that provides easy transport and storage without spilling the apron's contents -- plus easy adjustments while you're wearing it. The gusset designed front pockets offer easy access and greater capacity. This device is totally versatile -- all parts are removable and interchangeable. It's made from a double layer of lightweight, rugged DuPont Cordura Plus fabric, with a 5-inch wide padded comfort belt that has a double tongue steel roller buckle. The grip strip hook-and-loop fastening system helps you place the bags in the position desired on the belt. This model offers seven main pockets for nails or tools and six smaller pockets for pencils, nail sets, cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and more, including speed square and pry bar holders. The integrated metal clip holds all brands and sizes of measuring tapes, and there are two steel hammer loops. This belt fits waist sizes 29 to 46 inches.

The CLC published features pretty much speak for themselves. The handles, the durability, all that. What stands out for me with this belt is the construction. It appears durable, the rivets are solid and the material bomber. The belt itself is comfortable, well padded and breathable. But this is where my first gripe arises. I'm a 32" waist and this belt has a hard time going that small (and I'll wager there are smaller dudes out there than I). The 'hook and loop' adjuster thing is super convenient for positioning, but in the small setting it gets all bunched and in the way.
One other gripe is the with the handles. They are awesome for lugging this bad boy around, especially when the spacious pockets are full of hardware. They fold down and out of the way during wear but occaisionally they flop up and block access to say... your tape. I could cut them off, but I haven't and that should be an indication of how infrequently they are a problem.
Overall this is a good belt if you want to slog around a lot of stuff. Its probably best for larger dudes, but I like it and I'm in the sub 6' crowd.

This belt is an exact match for the belt i have had for the past ten years. It was well worth the money ten years ago and if this one lasts even half of that i will be very pleased. I am a carpenter.
