After 1 year, I can say these knee pads are the best I have ever used. Extremely comfortable. So much so, that I find myself forgetting to take them off at breaktime. Each pad has two straps but I find the lower strap to be more than enough to hold them up, so the upper strap spends most of the time in the back of the truck. The exterior of the pads is made of a rubberish, pliable material that will certainly help reduce surface scratching when kneeling on finished floors. I've been using kneepads for 12 years and when it's time to replace these, I will buy them again.

These kneepads are extremely comfortable,stay where they belong, work over pant legs or with bare skin and provide excellent cushioning!

I have four different types of knee pads & I've found these to be the best all around (especially on a roof where traction & flexibility is a must). As I get older, knee pain will stop a job & has made me aware of the importance of knee pads.

I'm on the second pair of these, the strap button broke-off the first pair. It's important to lift the knees when moving, if you slide the pad along the surface they have a tendency to rotate putting the button under your weight. Another thing is to keep the dangling strap on the outside of the knee (much less chance of getting the strap caught under the other knee pad).

The hard-cap knee pads are my choice for hard rocky ground & for most inside work (smooth softer surface) the small quitted ones are fine.

When the time comes, I'll order another pair of these.

CLC Flex Gel Knee Pad:

Since I have medically very bad knees(need surgery) and still wish to work sometimes on my knees, this is a super knee pad except for the button which holds the strap; they eventually fail and there is very little one can do to replace the button since the manner in which it is anchored prevents this.

the remainder of the knee pad is still very good and its a shame one can't replace the failed button.

The knee pad is fantastic except for the construction of the button which anchors the strap to the opposite side.

I have used this knee pad after trying many others. I settled on this knee pad about 8 yrs ago.

A second flaw is the strap which tends to fail early on!!!!! The body of the pad is fantastic though. To bad one cant buy extra straps to replace the ones which fail early on. The purchase should be extremely easy to do but the company wont sell them separately for obvious reasons.

These pads are the only ones which suit my 73 year old surgical in need knee.

Have used many types of kneepads in my 35 years in the trades. But these pads are by far the most comfortable ever. They stay up pretty well with just the one lower strap used. This is with alot of ups and downs.At 250 lbs., these pads have never failed in safety and comfort. The only drawback is that the strap holding knobs on the pads have a tendency to break off. This is after much use, put still should last much longer. But I would still recommend to all fellow trades people.

At least for me they don't. They either slip down my legs if the straps are loose or they cut off circulation when the straps are tightened. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground. When the pads are on my knee(without cutting off the blood to my feet) they are comfortable.
