Though the patterns seem daunting at first glance, once started they seem to go together well. I opted making a trinket box for my wife for Christmas rather than a music box, due to time constraints. Needless to say, she was extremely pleased, and was unable to see all my "minor" mistakes. Definitely not for the novice scroller - but that's just my opinion. Overall, a great book with some fascinating patterns.
