Book Description

May 1, 2010
Ana le Roux was an average thirty something mother who served God, her husband and her two children, the youngest barely three-weeks-old. But on January 5, 2003 one instant sealed her fate in an unimaginable chain of events. Le Roux was involved in a violent head on collision after she instinctively and selflessly sacrificed her life in an attempt to save the lives of her children. The impact occurred with such force that the seat belt fastened around her waste literally cut her in half! After a seemingly endless dialogue with God, she struggled indecisively to make the choice to live or to die. So, she did the only thing left to do; she relinquished her freedom of choice to God Almighty.

Almost instantaneously she opened her eyes and started on a journey of emotional, physical and spiritual recovery. In “Cut In Half” le Roux shares twenty three notable miracles and fifteen painful surgeries that have led to her being a healthy, happy and very alive member of society. With titanium in her back and a limp in her walk, she takes every step in life with humility, gratitude and optimism.

To Ana le Roux miracles are not an archaic phenomenon of scripture, nor are miracles something that God facilitates when a famous preacher is near. Cut in Half shows how amazing and real God’s love is and that miracles are something real and even happen every day.

To the goals that you achieve

So may you always know

These words appeared on a Hallmark card I received from my parents on the eve of a final exam. I was fifteen and convinced that the biggest test one can have in ones life was a difficult maths or science paper. Little did I know that these words would serve as a prophetic word for a test due to come my way fifteen years later.
It is very important to me that you identify with me. My goal is to show you that miracles happen every day in a variety of ways. You don't have to be ordained or blessed with a healing ministry to witness miracles. The only prerequisite is that you breathe. As long as you are in this world, you have a Saviour who longs to be at your beck and call.

I am not a pastor. I am not a gifted speaker. I am not even a writer. I am a sinner. Here is my story.

This book is a great personal testimony to her difficult recovery from a horrible accident. There are many spiritual insights and it could make a good Bible study book for a small group.

3.0 out of 5 stars A small book with a mighty message!!, April 1, 2011
This review is from: Cut In Half: How God Mended Me with 23 Miracles (Paperback)
Ana Le Roux was going home after spending the holidays with family when her life was revocably changed. She had a three year old and an infant, so she chose to sit in the back seat to keep the children calm as her husband drove. But when an oncoming car hit them head on, everything changed.

The lap belt that Ana has fastened around herself literally cut her in half upon impact. Her family escaped with only minor injuries, and Ana was quickly fighting for her life. This is her story of how God mended her in 23 miracles.

While fighting for her life, she gives her choices over to God. She repents, she asks God to make her decision for her - to fight or give up. She lashes out at him for her pain, but she eventually surrenders her will to him, and only then can she begin the path to healing.

This is Ana Le Roux's true account. It's written in three sections; the first part retells her story, the second part is a food for thought section that questions what you just read, and the third section is soul searching. A small book with a mighty message!!
