Kittens and teddy bears are "kid-pleasing" subjects, and many of Minton's simple cross-stitched pictures would look especially appealing in a baby's room. All of her designs call for DMC threads and Zweigart Aida cloth, although the reader can, of course, substitute any evenweave cloth and floss. For each design, the author includes a materials list, instructions, a color photograph, a graphed design, and a key to the colors. The book sports a library-friendly sturdy binding. Recommended for public libraries wherever cross-stitch books circulate.

This book was so cute. It just hit the spot that I was looking for. I needed a couple of cross-stitches for a baby's room and this book came to rescue. It has the cutest pictures of teddy bears that I have seen in a long time. A wonderful book.....
