Victorian Beauties,
By Heart To Hand (Portland, OR United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Cutwork, Hedebo & Broderie Anglaise (Paperback)
Written ten years ago I feel this is still the quintessential book on Victorian white work, black work and Cutwork. I love the look of cutwork and while I have found easier ways to "fake it" when I really want the item to look fantastic, have the time and ability to devote to creating a high quality product, then I revert to this book. I will be honest; it is not a book for beginner heirloom sewers! But if you know the difference between Cutwork, Hedebo and Broderie Anglaise then you are likely ready for this book!
