A collector's item,

This book was the catalogue for the first large-scale Twombly retrospective held in 1987-1988 which traveled around Europe (Düsseldorf, Madrid, Zürich and London) . As such, it has become a collector's piece with all the most important works by the artist reproduced in color and seminal texts by Roland Barthes (a reprint of a famous text written in 1978 for the Whitney exhibition in NYC), Harald Szeemann, Roberta Smith, Pierre Restany, among others. If you already own the book, enjoy it, if not, consider yourself lucky to still be able to find it, and don't mind the price...
