I purchased 2 sets of these speakers. I have very eclectic taste in music, and the music sounds great whether it is hip hop, classical, jazz, classic rock, alternative, etc. I listen to both MP3's and CD's. I use both Winamp and Windows Media Player. With these speaks you can clearly tell the difference between a low bit rate and a high bit rate MP3. I have listen to a number of speakers, including 4 different brands I have owned through the years. These are better than the Cambridge Soundworks 2.1 system they replaced, and the Cambridge Soundworks system was pretty darn good. I gave serious consideration to a couple of Bose products, but I believe these are superior as well as far less costly. One important note: sound quality on PC speakers is highly correlated to the quality of your sound card; I won't use motherboard audio. Even the best sound system cannot compensate for an inferior sound card.

I recently purchased this system. It replaced a 5.1 Surround System costing double the cost of this compact system. The sound is "outstanding",rich, powerful and very clear.
I was very suprised at the low price and the ease of set up.This system is a good upgrade from most commonly purchased PC speakers,and with the subwoofer it is a system you cannot touch for this kind of money.

Huge upgrade from stock desktop JBL speakers. The woofer is a bit weak when turned to max volume, but I was very very impressed with the quality and sound these put out. great value and woofer will annoy the neighbors. Woofer control on one of the desk speakers

We like the speakers and subwoofer, but one of the speaker wires is flaky and has to be in just the right position to work.

This set for the money is a bargain! I find it to be all I had hoped for and would buy them again.

This set was purchased to replace and older set that had power supply failure. Setup was easy and fast. I especially appreciate the easy access to the volume and base volume controls on the right speaker. The system is using a motherboard sound card with Windows 7. Sound is excellent to my old ears.

I am quite pleased with my recent purchase of the 3 PC Subwoofer Speaker System by Cyber Acoustics. I had been using the "Beast" system for a couple of years but somehow the power went out on it and even with a new power transformer (at a cost of 35.00!) the system was defunct. The new Cyber Acoustics system has very good sound and is small and compact to fit on any desktop. I would definitely buy other products from this company. Good quality and the price is right!

Little disappointed by the quality of the sound... Possible to find better for the same price...

These speakers are excellent - I've had them for about two weeks now, and the music I've played sounds wonderful. The one quirk I've had though is that I purchased these speakers to complement my existing speakers - one thing that the product review fails to mention is that the tweeters and the sub don't use separate connectors - but just one which is intended to be used under the "front speakers" category. I have my computer setup for surround sound, so I hooked up these speakers in the subwoofer port, which gives me more bass and more control of the bass with the built-in bass volume control, but renders the right tweeter useless, as the left speaker functions as the "center" speaker. Nothing major, since I still use my previous speakers as the "front speakers" but it's just to warn anyone who might not know.

I bought these because I wanted cheap speakers, but also wanted a subwoofer. For background music at work, these are ideal...exactly what I was hoping for. Nothing fancy, not audiophile quality, just decent.
