The 30-watt system, which is fully amplified and connects to all two-channel and four-channel sound cards, comes with four flat-panel satellite speakers (each with a 2.5-inch driver) and a 4-inch subwoofer. Remember this is a 4.1 sound system, not a 5.1, this means 4 speakers + subwoofer, not 5 speakers. That taken care of, the four speakers are connected to the subwoofer, which is connected via 2 stereo jacks (front/back) to a PC sound card. If you want to connect it to a gaming console: you dump a stereo jack (loose back), and with a Y cable, convert the Red and White cables to a stereo jack (front). Notice you loose the back part! You end up with stereo sound in 4 speakers. I DO NOT recommend this for console gaming, only for PC. To get surround on a console, get your x.1 sound system, a Reciever with optical input, an Optical audio cable and (on Xbox) either the advanced AV pack, or the HDTV pack, the later only if you have a HDTV.

i have tried this product for sometime and i am totally amazed the quality and sound of this .. for the price ithought i'd get some cardboard set of speakers instead i goquality product i'd recomend this to any one on a budget an wants a boost ofsound... also was easy to set up and use

it is the best 4.1 speaker sytem i have tried and I am a sound technician this only a 4.1 system for full gaming quality a 5.1 is needed i cmbined two of these and made a 8.2 system which is awsome
