I bought these speakers for a christmas gift for my sister,s iPod and portable CD player. The speakers worked good until now. There is a buzzing noise and they won't play anything from the iPod. The sound quality was not that great either. A big lack of bass. I would recommend the 2.1 speakers with a sub. They would sound a lot better and last longer.

I recently bought a pair at Fry's and for the money they're ok. If you can find them on sale for say, $9.99, that's even better. I just needed a pair for a small apartment and they fit the bill. I use them to listen to music and watch movies on my Mac Mini and they're fine for that. Compared to a Harmon Kardon, Logitech, or other high priced subwoofer system the sound isn't really that great. But what would you expect for under $20? They're fine for using with an iPod or other portable too. They would not make a good "main" sound system though.

Speakers are ok, nothing spectacular. But they are exactly what you would expect from a set that costs this little.

I needed some cheap speakers for some music at my office during the day, and these fit the bill perfectly!

I would recommend them to anyone looking to fill a niche like that...

If you care ANYTHING about acoustic quality you should avoid these at all costs. Their LOW QUALITY is underscored by any attempt to play anything even moderately hi-fi with them. If you plan on listening to music, playing games, or watching movies with these things, forget about it! The sound makes a constant scratching noise as the volume is adjusted, and they are interfered with very easily by statoelectric devices such as cellphones, nearby computer monitors, and other wired electronics. This interference results buzzing noises and extreme sound degradation. As for the workmanship, they are molded in a matte black plastic, are very light, and flimsy to the touch. The light weight is an indication that they have very cheap magnets inside. I would avoid these in general and spring for something in the $30-$40 price range. This is decidedly my first and last Cyber Acoustics product.

We purchased these speakers in July 2010 and used them two (2) times. When we tried to use them again in November 2010 they would not turn on: either the power supply was defective or the power circuit in the speakers was defective. Because this product claims a one year limited warranty and it did not even last beyond 1/3 of that time frame, I called the manufacturer's number as listed with the packaging. The manufacturer's representative was VERY helpful and shipped out a replacement promptly. Upon receiving the new speaker system, testing showed that it was the power supply that failed with the original system, not the speakers themselves. It's hard to judge the quality of the entire system because the speakers work fine, but one power supply failed after only two uses.

My kids use these speakers with their Zunes and they seem to have great sound. I've even had to tell them to "turn it down". Great price, also.

Oh Cyber Acoustics, you get my reward as the closet speakers, and of course by this I mean that the second you plug this in you will want to throw these violently into your closet. Or into the nearest trash can. You cannot buy worse speakers, in the US. The treble is way to high, the mids are almost non existent, and least but surely least the bass. Of course, I'm kidding, there is no bass. You can plead it to turn down the treble and develop a sense of sound and do justice to the music that you would regularly want to listen. But, unfortunately you wont even want to turn on you computer with these plugged in. These are the cheapest speakers I have ever seen and you will know why if you buy these. Before you ask, yes I hate this product, I think it is the worst thing I have ever bought. Do not buy these for your friend, but instead buy these for your "friend" because your "friend" will hate them too and this is okay because you do not like this person. Therefor it is okay to give them this product. I would never buy another thing by this company and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone even if they are looking for cheap speakers. So please don't waste your money, DO NOT BUY THESE SPEAKERS and have a good day.

I hope this is an error and not a case of false advertisement, the product received is not the product ordered. The product received is advertised for less money $11.84 being ca-2014, the product that I ordered is CA-2014rb supposed to be 4 Watts as indicated on my order. Please send my product as ordered, I expect my speakers to be not less than the 4 watts. This was sold to me by AMAZON LLC
