Great set of headphones,

So the reason I found this product on this site is that I'm looking to replace my current pair. When I started my current job 6 years ago, the office administrative assistant gave me these for doing things like online classes and listening to music while I work (yay cubicles). I'm easily distractable, so I've used them pretty much every day of work for 6 years.
After 3 years, the ear pieces cracked at the point where the adjustable head piece slides up and down. I really love these headphones, so I put scotch tape around the crack. I have since been retaping every 3-6 months or so for the last 3 years. I'm looking for new ones just as a backup when these become unrepairable since these are really the perfect cheapy headphones. Why I love them is they are perfect for what they are. I need simple headphones that drown out the noise of my work environment with non-terrible quality music. These guys have some decent built in speakers that are able to hit a lot of the deep bass notes (not typical for cheap headphones or laptop speakers) and provides overall good quality. They fit well and in such a way that you can mute your music and easily hear people talking to you without removing your headphones (though, depending on the person, they may not understand that... "Can you hear me?"). The cord is long enough to move fully around in a cubicle without being so long that it gets wrapped up in everything. Adjustable volume on the cord is nice (though for me, I personally use a windows app to adjust the volume levels using the left alt key and my mouse scroll button). The one wire system (only connects to the left ear) means fewer wires in your way around your head/shoulders. Bottom line - This is a great set of headphones for a cubicle drone :).

Other then me sitting on them, these headphones are pretty indestructible.I have had them about a year and the sound was still great the fit was fairly good and they were very comfortable. At this low price they are WELL worth it.I am buying another pair as I destroyed the last.If I had not done that they would no doubt be still working perfectly and most likely would have lasted quite awhile more. I would definitely recommend these headphones.

I'm convinced that, after trying several sets of headphones, that when it comes to sound quality and whether or not a set of headphones is comfortable after an hour's use--that these two aspects are subjective, that is, what sound's great in one person's ears may sound poor to another and what is comfortable to one person may not be so for someone else. That said, in my opinion, these cans have good sound for the price. You shouldn't expect any lightweight headphones to sound like larger units with bigger magnets and outside noise cancellation enhancements, so when I say the sound quality is good with this set I don't mean professional studio quality. They're more than adequate for listening to streaming radio over the internet and work well with the portable mp3 player I have. The downside for me with these cans is that they become uncomfortable after about an hour. Your experience may be different. Headphone manufacturers seem to want to concentrate on making foldable, collapsing units that fit in some tight space for some reason. I avoid those types since I don't trust their longevity. These cans are not foldable and they look and feel like they would last a good while, but they don't work for me. My ears are small and my head in average size but these phones become painful after awhile.
