5.0 out of 5 stars No need to pay more.
This item is dirt cheap, and is working perfectly. I bought it so I could transfer files from my nokia to the computer. From opening the package to being fully operational, it took me about 5 min. 3.0 out of 5 stars No 64 bit drivers!
I'm sure this device works fine when it works. It comes with a somewhat old version of the WIDCOMM bluetooth drivers, that doesn't include drivers for XP x64. I found a newer WIDCOMM driver (v 5.0.1) after searching around, but even though it has some x64 drivers, it does not have one for this device. So, I am unable to use it with Windows XP x64.

In addition to being a great product, "dongle" is really fun to say.

Received and installed this within 10 minutes, including reboot. Used the included software, installed on XP with Service Pack 3. Easily configured Bluetooth PAN with my Windows Mobile phone and listening to Bluetooth stereo headsets as I type this. Don't worry about the nay sayers, this works fine. You can't beat the price, either!

4.0 out of 5 stars Really usefull Bluetooth USB for a really low price, April 17, 2009

I bought it and have been delighted with it. I use it for my phone and bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
I wasn't expecting much for such a low price but I think it was a great purchase.
I use it on my laptop (that obviously lacks of bluetooth) and works great, just be careful of not moving the dongle too much into the USB port since it can easily disconnect and loose bluetooth for a few seconds while it comes back.
I had (also) some problems with the drivers. It said "Works with Vista", but the driver had a lot of issues since it was an old version of BlueSoleil. Great on XP and needs no drivers on Windows 7 =D

4.0 out of 5 stars IVT chipset, December 22, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Cyber-Blue Bluetooth v2.0 Class 2 Slim Dongle (Electronics)
These dongles use the IVT chip set.If you have vista or later the drivers will come from Windows update. If you have XP the dongle comes with an old version of Bluesoleil but you are better off finding one with a broadcom chip set.

The data transfer rate is slow, drivers are hard to install, and I threw it away after 2 months of frustration.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hardware Works as Expected, June 29, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Cyber-Blue Bluetooth v2.0 Class 2 Slim Dongle (Electronics)
This is the hardware.... sends and receives a bluetooth signal to a compatible device. Any problems experienced will be with software issues. I bought a cheepo cheepo Nokia phone.... no flash card. I should have checked first as I have never used a bluetooth. Nokia has software for the txfer.... installed it and within 20 minutes had the transfer running.

Bottom line - don't spend more when this affordable device works as advertised.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked Great, May 20, 2010

Amazing little dongle that worked great before it got stolen lol

If you buy this you won't be dissatisfied at all, except for the software it comes with. But third party software for bluetooth is easy to find online, or you can just use what's built-in to Windows.
