This item is not worth the time. It is a knock-off with absolutely terrible quality. Item got stuck in my camera and button to remove it didn't work. Didn't connect to PC when it was installed. Was afraid to try again after having to struggle to free it. It was in the trash in a matter of minutes.

So I bought this for my camera SONY cyber-shot DSC-P100 after I visited my in-laws for Christmas and lost the cable to upload pics to the computer. After I got it and wanted to upload some photos of my newborn, it didn't work. It was unrecognizable to the computer even though I have uploaded pictures from this camera to the same computer before. I figured it had to do with this cable. I just saved up some money and bought another camera.

Horrible purchase. If I hadnt thrown away baggy it came in, I would return immediately. Doesnt fit properly in camera and doesnt stay connected. I am only able to get the computer to recognize the camera if I put the cord in at an angle or hold it in upright, but one little move and it disconnects. It also only recognizes USB at 1.0 instead of 2.0 and I am running Windows 7 Ultimate. Definitely not Japan or American quality... cheap Chinese knockoff.

Lost my chords for my camera somewhere - could never figure that out. So just went on Amazon and found what I needed and now I'm back on track using my digital camera. I'm a happy camper!!!

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-W150. I lost my camera cord while on vacation and about to buy this cord at a Sony store for $25, but figured I would wait. I was glad when I found the same cord for less than $10 with shipping. Cord works great. I was expecting a generic cord, but this one actually says Sony.
