Plug design - this is exactly what I was looking for,

I'll add photos that show why I bought this item. (Thanks to the reviewer(s) who mentioned these features, since the product photo doesn't show them.) The plug does not stick out from the wall very far, and the cord comes out at an angle so you can have two protectors plugged into the same outlet. These were both important factors for me.

I bought this device because it had good noise suppression along with it's surge protection at a nice price. The tight fit on connection is a sign of a quality receptacle. The tighter the better (at least up to a point). Hospital grade receptacles are the best and they are extremely tight. I did not consider them overly tight and was surprised to see negative comments about that. The noise suppression was something I was looking for to isolate the computer devices which can generate a lot of "digital" noise from the audio devices plugged into the same source on my HT system. The power strips/surge protectors sold for HT use are highly overpriced. Many surge protectors don't tell you if they have any noise protection or not so I would assume no. The actual specs on how much noise suppression is almost impossible to find out, but my research on these CyberPower devices seemed to indicate they have at least a modest amount of noise and surge protection and since I needed three to go into my cabinets, price was a factor. They seem to be doing their job and I have not had any noise issues so over all I would highly recommend them at this price point.

As a new poorly constructed piece of exercise equipment, this gets 5 stars. As a power strip it's the worst power strip I've ever used. I didn't even know that there was such a thing as a bad power strip. The outlet plugs have metal contacts that are nigh on impossible to actually plug something into. I had to use almost my full weight on each plug to get it to actually plug in. Now that they're plugged in... I guess they're staying plugged in. I might need to cut it apart to get something out--and that's only a slight exaggeration. I don't know that it deserves 1* but seeing as that's the only metric by which I know how to judge a power strip: whether or not you can plug something into it I guess it fails miserably. I almost considered sending it back.
