Just be sure you have a 20A circuit for this thing, it wont plug into a standard 15A circuit.

After much consideration and advise from others at online forums, I purchased this unit and I'm very pleased I did. This is a very high quality unit with software that will allow you to designate shut down parameters, log events, send emails or various Instant Messenger messages, etc. CyberPower thought of just about everything you would need with this unit. I hooked mine up to my computer with the supplied USB cable and the software installation was a breeze. You can set it up to do a shutdown after X number of minutes in case it is unattended.
Be aware that you will need a 20A Nema R receptacle. In my case I replaced the normal 15A receptacle with the 20A Nema R for a few bucks at Lowes and also upgraded the breaker for that outlet from a 20A to a 30A. That was easy!

You can set this up as a rack mount unit (using supplied left/right handles) or in a Tower configuration. I chose the Tower configuration.

I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants to protect a high end computer. My previous UPS could not automatically shutdown my computer and I've experienced problems with that UPS where I could not reboot without extensive repairs by booting into Windows in a "Repair" mode.

With the CyberPower OR2200 I can now sleep well at night knowing that my computer is very well protected and will automatically shutdown correctly in case of a sustained power loss without the need to go into Repair mode and restore some previous "good" condition.

This is a great UPS for the price that I paid. At the time of purchase the price was much cheaper than the competitors. I was worried about the features and functions but I am glad I purchased it.
