Product Description

Product Description

If you've watched Tiger Woods' awe-inspiring performances on the fairway and wondered what it might be like to walk in his shoes, here's your chance. CyberTiger balances all of the realistic graphic detail of a golf simulation with arcade-like gameplay that'll have any virtual golfer sinking Tiger's impossible shots before long.

Golfers can go on tour or play a match or tournament game on several PGA courses, as well as fantasy courses with wild obstacles. As golfers' skills progress, hidden characters, special abilities, and trick shots unlock, offering new challenges. A one-button swing feature offers rookies an easy way to nail 200-yard shots and soft 20-inch putts from the very first tee.

Tiger Woods' signature smooth swings and idiosyncrasies were motion-captured for the game, providing realistic animations. A variety of PGA pros--male and female--are available, as well as a create-a-golfer feature that lets players build a virtual rival for Tiger Woods. --Eric Twelker

5.0 out of 5 stars Cyber Tiger take it for what it is., June 22, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: CyberTiger (Game Cartridge)
Yes this game is unrealistic. The title and the picture on the box should tell you that. It is not a hard game by any means. A beginner should be able to make par or close to it. When you learn the game then it will keep on challenging you. I am not real familiar with all of the extras but this is a great game to play with your friends. If you are looking for a realistic golf game then this is not what you want. But if you like to have fun on the golf coarse then this is what you want.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun!, September 23, 2000

What a fun game! With battle mode, tournament, Skins Game, Tiger Challange, Single mode, and other modes that I can't remember, also three great courses, and some fun characters. You can also blow up the people's heads to make them look funny. I recommend this game. Very Fun!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not up to par!, March 28, 2000

This review is from: CyberTiger (Game Cartridge)
I was interested in purchasing this game as I enjoy golf sims. I decided to rent it first just to be on the safe side. I'm glad I did. Cyber Tiger is a very unrealistic golf game. The ball seems to bounce around in a very unusual and artificial way. The sound effect which accompanies this "bounce" is unusual too -- it kind of sounds like someone striking a piece of cardboard with a pencil. Speaking of sound, crowds can sometimes be heard but they are nowhere to be seen! On top of this, the terrain, at least on the initial course, is rather bland and is extremely artificial looking which makes it all seem like a worthless venture. I would recommend that everyone wait for the European PGA tour game that will hopefully be available soon.
