Editorial Reviews

The educational children's cartoon series CYBERCHASE fosters math and problem-solving skills through the animated adventures of three whiz kids battling computer hackers in cyberspace. When the villainous Hacker (voiced by Christopher Lloyd) hatches a nefarious plot to take over the virtual universe, cyberspace ruler Motherboard and her scientist cohort Dr. Marbles zap three brainy, real-world schoolkids through a computer screen for help. Together with their wacky bird-guide Digit (voiced by Gilbert Gottfried), the gadget-obsessed Matt, fashion-conscious Jackie, and inquisitive Inez--collectively known as the Cybersquad--use their math and logic smarts to foil the Hacker menace and restore peace to the cyberspace Motherboard. Aimed at the preteen set, this collection includes three fun-filled episodes: "Starlight Night," "Snow Day to be Exact," and "A Time to Cook."

5.0 out of 5 stars fun way for kids to learn math concepts December 26, 2007
By KMW
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
Kids can learn math concepts in a practical and engaging manner. My 4 yr old loves this DVD and picks up a lot of the math concepts already because they're presented in a fun way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Cyberchase! September 27, 2011
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
My kids love Cyberchase and were so disappointed when PBS stopped showing it (although they do love Wild Kratts, which replaced it). This DVD is the perfect way to cure the disappointment. Very reasonably priced and the kids love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars review for cyberchase June 4, 2010
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
I watch this video in a third grade class. Each segment is short enough (30 min.) for us to watch during a lunch or indoor recess period. The children love it and the topics follow our math lessons.
