4.0 out of 5 stars For wannabes and cybergurus alike August 14, 1998

Format:Paperback
Light and humorous description of the computer underground. Totally the book to get if you are not so serious about hacking and cracking, but are mystified by this offbeat cyberculture. Hell, this book is also cool for a Master CyberPunk, so to bolster the stereotype. Learn how the typical cyberpunk dresses, what gadgets they buy, what terms they use, and even what food good lil cyberpunks like to eat. Piercings and extreme hairdos optional.

And R. U. Sirious was going to be its prophet. Instead he was the profit.

Anyhow, it's a funny book, and is cheap. No chance of a second edition. So come along and enjoy those delightful memories, cybersex, cyberpunk, l33t speak, and hackers meeting up (meating up?) with literary theorists.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dated but funny!
LOL.

It's a little dated by now, but still very funny. A good book to have to show the grandkids what hacker life was like in the 90's.
