This is one of the few books that I have read that I can honestly say I did not like at all. The characters were uninteresting, and the story was slow and senseless. The plodding pace had me stopping frequently to try and remember what I had just read. Since I read this book in 1990, I have made a concerted effort to avoid Lewitt's books.
