I read the description of this bike light and it sounded perfect, but it wasn't. The part that attaches to the handle bar is very brittle, my unit broke on install. I handle delicate equipment all day at work, so i doubt this is installer error. I will have to buy a different light. This makes a good flashlight though or am I just making lemonade!?

I bought this light after recently purchasing my bike. I wanted something that would be bright and also have a blinking mode to warn traffic of my presence. The light itself was super inexpensive (I think I paid $6), but it works just as good (if not better) than the expensive light that my boyfriend bought for his bike at a store!

The light was easy to install on my Raleigh and I'm very satisfied with the speediness of Amazon.com to get the light to me 2 days before promised.

Great buy and I recommend this light to anyone who likes going on night/late afternoon rides!

I bought one of these lights and it is amazing. 5 bright LEDS make the nighttime riding really bright. I would definitely recommend buying one. I am probably going to order more. Overall great buy and its a nice light

We bought 2 of these last year but did not have the opportunity to use them until today. Last night I loaded batteries into one of them and turned it on. It came right on. I turned it off and nothing happened, so I took the batteries out. I put the batteries back in but could not get it to light again. I put the batteries in the 2nd one and it turned on and off just fine. We went riding this morning and when I go to a tunnel, I turned the light on. Within 25 feet, it went out and would not come back on. These are a total waste of money.

Only three uses in and no response. The fit on the batteries is poor. I thought that might be it. But I checked, and all batteries are making a solid connection. It's dead.

I bought this direct from HongKong, and while it was a bit cheaper than Amazon (including shipping), it failed almost immediately. The batteries do not stay in position in the sleeve, which makes it difficult to assemble. Then the switch failed after about ten tries. It could be turned on again only by disassembling and reassembling the light. One of the rubberized pads to hold it on the handlebar fell off before I had time to notice there were two. A tail-light sent as part of the deal had a tab (for removing it from the bracket) that broke the second time it was removed from the bracket. My view is that this would be a very risky product to rely on when riding at night. The light is bright, but not reliable.

Broke the first day I used it. The headlight is/was fine, but the light we attached to the handlebar broke the first ride b/c it was very cheap plastic. We had to go home and duct tape the light on, but it was too weak of a beam to even really see. Since it was cheap, I didn't feel too bad that it didn't work out, but it's a pain to order something later, when we should have just paid more for a better item in the first place. Hopefully others don't have same problems, though.

I ordered 2 that night, this one was $8, and I also bought a different but similar product for a little more money. I am glad I did. Tonight (5/24/12) I was riding home and I could not get the light to switch to the blinking mode. It was just on and I could not get it to change. So as I fiddled with it while riding, the rubber button fell off and hit my lower arm. I stopped my bike to look around with the same light to see if I could get it to help me find the button. And then it just stopped working all together. So I took out my knife to see if the little red button (beneath the rubber button provided) worked. It did not. I bought this last week and it was the first ride with this product. I obviously do not recommend this to anyone. huge piece of crap. cheep. Spend the money for what you need, cause this one aint gonna do it.

I just recieved this in the mail, went to put it on bike and its to big (I have a TREK advance) . I put some electrical tape around the bar to make it larger to grab onto and when I was screwing it on it broke. Read the other reviews, I wish I had.

This light is cheaply made.. in China of course. I used it once and it fell off and broke while riding. The attachment has a sliding release button that released while riding. It also makes this light easy to steal since it doesn't have a lock. I would not buy this if you plan on riding a bike that bounces or goes fast.
