I have searched high and low for a lightweight stroller that will last and has all the features that most people want. The Cybex Ruby has almost everything!

Pros:
-My son is a very tall 26 pound baby at only 10 months old, so it was difficult to find something that would be able to last us for a long time. Because of this stroller's high weight limit, extra tall back, and sun canopy that you can adjust by sliding up the stroller frame, he will not outgrow this for years.
-The comfortable foam handles are also great for tall parents. I am 5'8" and my husband is 6'2". Neither of us has to bend over when pushing the stroller.
-The basket is large enough to hold my backpack diaper bag with room to spare and it is very easily accessible with none of the stroller frame in the way like other popular lightweight strollers (I'm looking at you The First Years Ignite!).
-The Ruby is very, very easy to fold up. All you have to do is press one part with your foot, then pull up on the carrying strap. It automatically locks when you fold it.
-The brakes are easy and I can even lock and unlock them with flip-flops on.
-My favorite thing about the Ruby is the sun canopy. I live in California so we are lucky enough to have sun most days of the year. Unfortunately it is a very hot sun in the summer (99 degrees today) and the enormous and fully adjustable canopy does the trick. I love that I can fully extend it, then flip it down in front of my son when we are facing the sun. He is completely covered.

Cons:
-The only downside to this stroller is the lack of a parent console or cup holder of any kind. This is easily remedied with the addition of a stroller organizer.

Overall:
After comparing over 20 strollers I would say that the Cybex Ruby is a competitor to the Maclaren Volo. The Cybex is better and cheaper than the Volo though. Overall, this is one of the best baby purchases I have ever made.

After much research, I finally came across this stroller. I needed a larger-than-average umbrella style stroller for my tall 4 year old for our trip to Disney, but I didn't want to pay a ridiculous amount of money for something we aren't going to use often. This holds up to 55 lbs. and the back can be made taller, which is just what we needed. My son was comfortable and liked being able to pull the cover down to keep the sun out of his eyes. It's easy to maneuver (if you find it difficult, check the front brakes...my son kept kicking them on). The handles are tall, as well, which is great for my husband who is 6'3". It was easy to fold when it was time to get on the buses at Disney and it was easy for my son to get in and out of. We have another trip scheduled for next year and I'm hoping my son will be able to use it then as well.

I love love love this stroller! I ordered it for our vacation mainly because of the super canopy. I really wanted my 18 month old to well shaded from all angles. It just came in the mail yesterday. It was very easy to put together, the super canopy was a bit hard to snap on. But other than that, a piece of cake! I have only used it for a bit, but it glides easily, the canopy is amazing and the stroller is easy to fold and carry. I am really looking forward to using it on vacation!

Purchased this and returned it. The quality of the frame is nice but the seating is horrible. This is a sling style seat so it provides no back support whatsoever. The material is like a nylon mesh probably easy to clean but super thin. The sun shade is a pretty good size but very flimsy mine came warped and stayed warped. The front wheels didn't always spin at times so that was annoying. Its not the worst stroller but I definitely would not recommend it.

We love out cybex ruby stroller n aton cat seat! It is a great lightweight umbrella stroller! Huge canopy, durable, opens/closes w one hand and can be carried over your shoulder. Best part is that w the $25 adapter straps we can also use it with our carseat (eliminating need for seperate click-it type stroller in early months)! Works prrfectly for erronds around town n also for travel. Have been on numerous plane trips thus far and absolulty love the flexibility with this combo. It can be used w a number of different carseat brands if u don't go with the aton. Also, note that it is still an umbrella type stoller w smaller wheels...not made so much for rugged terain (off road/sidewalk), but locking front wheels will help when u have to cross a rough patch or grassway in the park. Also, because its lightweight you need a child or carseat strapped into front in order to hang a diaper bag on handles...simply learning what order to load n unload has done the trick for us.
