We've just come back from Spain and used this book as a guide cycling the Pyrennes route. The author includes 8 'routes' you may choose,each of them in a different part of spain. You absolutely need the detailed maps that the author reccomends as backup as some of the roads and markings have changed since it was written. Also the author rates the routes in difficulty and suggested that this particular one was only slightly challening when I would say it would be for the more experienced road cyclist,especially if you hope to complete each day in the times the author did!Phew! But the route really was amazing,quiet roads and breathtaking scenery,so I would definatly recommend this book if you are planning a trip to Spain.
