This review is from: Cycles: The Mysterious Forces that Trigger Events (Paperback)
Edward Dewey is one of the pioneer in Cycles analysis, he have been choosing by the u.s president back in 1930's to find an explanation for what causes the great depression and why the U.S market collapsed back then, he start wondering around asking different people with different majors, fundamentalist , economics .....etc , he found out after asking a lot of professionals that everyone have a different reason for it or let say a different theory, he compared it with visiting different doctors and each one of them say something else, after that he found out from a friend that there are some kind of consistency in price movements in time, he picked up from here and did a research after he suspected that price really changes in cycles, in fact every thing in life changes in cycles. A very interesting book also its hard to find a good copy these days a friend of mine when he ordered this book he got a small size version (hand size version) I got a medium size book which is almost like the one in the picture here, so watch out when ordering so you don't end up buying the small version.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cycle research coming back, October 24, 2011

All time classic. For those who experience deja vu and swears that you've been there done that, then here's some background on cycles and findings from Mr. Dewey.

Pertaining to the stock market, there has been studies that cycle literature re-emerges during bear markets as people are again interested on why things happen. Cycle studies look for when phenomena happens not why. Although we know they exist.
