A must have for any Cyclist living in the State of Arizona. If you are from out-of-state and are planning to spend some time cycling in Arizona (and I highly recommend it), buy this book - you will be glad you did :) The info in the book is very accurate and informed me about many routes that I was not aware of (even after living in Arizona for 20 years).

Yes there are 106 routes organized into 10 regions, and some good pictures. BUT ... the directions to the starting points of the routes are often inadequate and the maps are confusing and incomplete. If you are able to do your own additional research, this can be a useful guide, but it's disappointing as it is. Althought the route descriptions include a "degree of difficulty", they don't even say if they are paved or dirt. And many include dirt segments that would be unsuitable for a road bike. Too bad, with a little more work, this could be an excellent resource. As it is, you have to do a lot of additonal research on your own.
