I learned so much from this book--not just about rides, but about the history of the area and about interesting things to see. Highly recommended, and not just for cyclists--hikers and horseback riders would probably enjoy it too.

Palm Springs does not have a good bike path system. So this book give you ideas where to go to have an enjoyable ride. Actually with all the snowbirds in the winter months, it is really not recommended to ride the surface streets without marked bicycle lanes.
