Bought this for my boyfriend. He uses it for everything... camping, fixing things around the house, etc. He even accidently left it in his pants pocket and washed it, it survived! It's so nice to have bright (yes its definetly bright enough) light without the need to hold a flashlight and work at the same time.
Great product, well worth the money!

I ordered one of these for myself for when I walk my dog at night. It is awesome....much better light than the expensive camping type ones my husband uses plus it doesn't slide off my head. In fact, when he saw it, I had to order another one for him for when he camps, and also 4 more for a friend who saw mine and wanted them for her family for their summer vacation home.

I've used a large variety of clip on style "hat lights" (though they weren't intended for that purpose) over the years for hunting, astronomy setup, bicycling, household chores, attic crawling and many other tasks.
I noted in other product reviews that the "above the bill" style light received downchecks because it couldn't be properly aimed. I'm not sure how those individuals managed that, but I've found I can aim the light pretty much wherever I want it to go, save straight down. Of course, the greatest feature is that it leaves both hands free and at the same time allows me to position the light EXACTLY where I need it to be. That, alone, make this light worth double the price. I'll be ordering more soon.
