These babies will not light up the night sky. In my opinion
they're not suitable for job site work or camping. What they're perfect for is reading in bed. The light follows your head, and you won't disturb your partner light a lamp would. The battery is pretty cheap to replace, as are these head lamps. I really love that the elastic is comfortable and the light is adjustable up and down. If there's a power outage you're set. Price is right. Get it.

This light is super light, super bright/focused, and will help you set a tent up in the dark, light your path to the biffy, or even let you see your cards for the game you're playing just before sleep. And they're inexpensive... buy one for each car, one for the nightstand, one by your keyrack. They're also great for reading in bed... just don't make the headstrap too tight :-)

I got one of these headlamps and I thought it was so great that I ordered another one. I put it away for safekeeping until I went camping. When I went to turn it on in the tent it did not work at all and it was a total bummer. Of course I did not save the packaging or anything so there was no recourse. These things are cheap and they work great when they work, just make sure it works when you get it!
