This light met my expectations. I was hoping for a better mounting system, but this one does the trick. It holds the light perfectly and will not allow it fall out even under harsh conditions. Its super small and has a nice little carrying case which is good to house your head and taillight. Overall I am very please with what I got for the price, but the one suggestion I would have for the company is to come up with a better mount to hold the light just a few more inches from your handle bars.

Pros:

Amazing brightness in a small package

Compact and easy to install

Should fit any bike without problems

Cons:

Battery pack does have a short cord (if mounted correctly its no problem)

Light mount is a little tough to install if you have top mounted brakes

This light is quite compact and lightweight. Battery life is decent, especially if you use blinky mode. I use it a couple of times a week for 30 mins and only charge it once every 3 to 4 weeks. The dual lights means you get a wide beam of light, thus illuminating more of the road and making you more visible to cars.

Overall, I am happy with this light.

I've ridden over 1400 miles in the last 3 1/4 months much of it at night. I'm riding a new tech bike which I regularly hit speeds exceeding 30 mph downhill (gps tracked) and you can't out ride this light, it's like having a car headlight on your bike!

In the last week I completed a solo century ride (100 mi) the last 20 of which I did after dark along a state highway with numerous small sinkholes along the berm and had no problems seeing everything.

The best thing that I've found with the MityCross 300 is that you get a lot of respect from motorists. My experience is that traffic at cross streets/roads gives me at least twice the distance as I approach without pulling out in front of me. They can't help but see you.

Road visibility = excellent.

Ease of on/off of bike = excellent.

Ease of charging = excellent.

Size (to place in pocket when parking bike) = excellent.

I use this light as part of my night riding set up. It provides great illumination of the road in front of me. It could be a little brighter when the road is wet but that is true of any light.
