Diameter of opening is approximately 3.25". These work perfectly with the included hand poured 3 inch floating candles. Floating candle size: 3" Wide x 1.4" Tall. I bought these vases and candles for my wedding. They were exactly as I wanted and the best part was they were at my house within 3 days of ordering!! They looked perfect for my wedding and definitely the cheapest route I could find (and I did alooot of looking).

I purchased these for my wedding centerpieces late on Monday evening, and they arrived at my home today (Thursday)! I only chose the standard shipping method for these, so I am very impressed with the speed of the order!
The vases are packaged in smaller boxes by size, so I opened them all to make sure none of the vases were damaged. They are packed for shipping very well. The glass is good quality, and the candles don't look inexpensive at all!
All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. I looked at this type of vase set in several other locations, and it was cheaper (even with the shipping and handling being more for the large box) to order the set of 36 than to order them individually and purchase the candles too.
