now i dont have to put my phone in my cup holder or risk having it slide off my lap and under the seat... put one in between my steering wheel and my radio. the other 2 are gonna be xmas stocking stuffers. never had a problem with the whole "but its a magnet, wont it mess up your phone?" thing. package says its certified for use with phones and its right. pretty strong magnet hold too. itll stick no matter how your driving but its not hard to detach either. great quality for the price

This is a fantastic product! The magnets are plenty strong enough, and the silver thinnner one is perfect for ipod or mp3s, while the black one is a little stronger and works great for my phone. There is even a little swivel slip on the magnet base so you can clip anything with a holster to it, magnet or not. Everyone who has seen this setup wants to know where I bought it so they can get their own.

Do not use with your iPod or iPhone even if you have a case on both of them. Every time I connected my iPod to it the iPod would shut down or the volume would act crazy when it would play (Tried on more than one - 3rd G nano / 5th G 30G) The phone was not as bad because I have a Speck Candyshell case on it but it still made the screen flicker now and then so I did not want to chance it. Wish these would have worked because the looked great on my dash, not like a bulky dash mount. Use at your own risk and I hope this helps others.
