I love the shake, but the carton opening design is faulty. I have ordered this twice from Amazon. In the first shipment, two of the containers had opened and spilled their contents. In the second, there were four failures.

If you are looking at the particular nutrition profile of a Muscle Milk protein shake, then I'd say this is the brand to buy. Great taste, warm or cold, and supplies a decent amount of protein for a pre-workout shake. You may want a casein/whey blend for post-workout. At .75 dollars per shake, this is a decent deal. Any more and you should just blend your own from MM powder.

I found the shakes to be very tasty and satisfying. I've ordered this multiple times and have had one case that turned out to be a little chunky. I determined that if I put the shakes into the fridge immediately, it's fine - but if i order 2 or more cases and leave them out until needed, they tend to get chunky - probably from getting too warm in the house. That's my theory anyway.

If your looking to be fit, or stay fit Muscle Milk is for you. You could stop eating regular food and live off this stuff (I don't advise that). Just be careful about how much you drink and not work out. If your working out via the gym or running on a regular 4 to 5 times a week perfect, however if your sitting home drinking muscle milk and watching TV your going to gain weight serious weight, I'm talking where do they hose you down weight. Think.

Potential buyers should be aware, the Muscle Milk "nutritional shake" is not the same as the Muscle Milk you typically buy in powder form or in RTD form like Cytosport - Muscle Milk Rtd Chocolate 17oz, 12 drinks.

Those traditional Muscle Milk drinks include nutrients that are important to strength trainers and other fitness enthusiasts (Muscle Milk includes alpha and beta micellar caseins, Alpha-Lactalbumin, Purified Bovine Colostrum Extract (rich in Secrotory IgA and IGF-1), lactoferrin, glutamine peptides and more)

This "Nutritional Shake" is more of a meal replacement or protein supplement, it does not include the same ingredients as traditional Muscle Milk which is designed to simulate mother's milk. This may be fine for some users but they should know they are getting a different product.

My wife and I both love this stuff. Not only is it great for replenishing your body after a nice work out, it tastes great! I've tried quite a few other protein shakes, and the only on that comes close in flavor is Gatorade's version. However, Muscle Milk packs in more nutrition in smaller package, as well as having the edge on flavor. My wife who LOVES chocolate milk thinks these are delicious. They've helped me in my muscle building goals, and they've helped her in getting her needed protein intake for a day since she is a vegetarian and sometimes finds it hard to get the right amount of protein.

If you're looking for a very portable, high protein, high nutrition shake that tastes fantastic, Chocolate Muscle Milk cannot be beat. Also worth noting is that you can pick these up at your local warehouse store for significantly less than having them shipped to you, so if that is an option, go for it.

I love this stuff! Muscle Milk is awesome, not only does it taste great but it packs a ton of protein. I use these after workouts or strenuous activity, even when I'm starving from a long day at work. It helps calm down my stomach until I can make another meal. Every one I've tried has been well mixed, after about 30 seconds of shaking there were absolutely no chunks or odd things floating in it. This is a huge time savings, they are great to have on hand to supplement a regular powder mix protein drink. I don't think it would be worth it to use these exclusively because it becomes cost prohibitive but it's worth it when you want a portable protein drink. Don't hesitate, buy it, you'll love it.

This has to be one the best Protein supplements in the market! And more importantly, the taste is just unbelievable! The Banana Creme and Vanilla flavors are the best. From a "Supplement Facts" perspective, each RTD bottle is packed with 32, yeah 32g of Protein, and only 14g of Carbohydrates! The Total fat is 16g which might be on the higher side, again 6g of which are in the form of MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides) that are typically burned as energy and aren't stored as body fat! All in all, it works really good for me and if you are an active person like I am, you should prolly go get yourself some. (GNC also sells this for like 3 bucks)

Muscle Milk is a very good product. I enjoy the flavors and the convienence of the RTD (ready to drink) line. The 17 ounce cartons provide a good amount of protein as well as vitamins and minerals. The oils used are heart healthy and may contribute to lower triglyceride levels and higher HDL cholesterol. The 60% calcium provided is important to me because of osteoporosis.

The product is very good. However the cheapest prices are to be found at bodybuilding.com. Shipping costs are low. Service is fast. Further all purchases are guarranted by the Cytosport company.
