5.0 out of 5 stars Joe's top 10 picks August 14, 2011

This DVD, gives an accurate description of the Normandy invasion! I had the distinct pleasure to meet face-to-face, one of the veterans featured on this epic documentary...Leonard Lomell. He gives a vivid account of his experience, as a sargeant in the 2nd Ranger Battalion. Actor,Gerald Mcraney's narration is superb. I highly recommend this DVD. Joe Scalise.

I would highly recommend this. We were going on a trip to specifically tour the Normandy WWII sites, and didn't have time to do a lot of reading to refresh some of the facts. This was a great way to get background that we needed.
