5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Single, October 24, 2005
This review is from: D.J. Shadow: Lost and Found (S.F.L.)/ D.J. Krush: Kemuri (Audio CD)
I bought this because I'm a fan of DJ Shadow. Lost and Found (S.F.L.) is a great song, built around the drum intro from U2's Sunday Bloody Sunday, with some nice little mournful-sounding lines in the background. It should be noted that this song was released around the time of In/Flux and What Does Your Soul Look Like, as it has the same meandering pace and tendency to drop off and come back to melodies. Maybe he'll rerelease Preemptive Strike with this or some other stuff. I'm not as familiar with DJ Krush, but this is a very good track, laid-back, almost new-age with the Asian-flavored flutes, making a nice balance to the more tense feel of Lost and Found. Kemuri can be found on other albums, but Lost and Found is only available here or on the One to Grow On promo.
