The D-Links DES 3226 is a high performance Layer 2 switch that provides an ideal solution for workgroups and departments. The DES 3226 has (24) 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet Ports with support for optional Gigabit and 100 FX modules for fast connection speeds and flexibility. Utilizing an 8.8 Gbps switch fabric and support for 8,000 Mac addresses, the DES 3226 is a wire speed, departmental switch. D-link's robust support of standards based network management protocols (SNMP/RMON/BOOTP/TELNET/WEB) and port mirroring enables the DES 3226 to be easily integrated into many third party network management packages.

If D-link considers this switch industrial grade they are sadly mistaken. Purchased this unit 1 year ago and it performed flawlessly 24x7 use in my data center. Now the unit burns out a power supply (internal) and is dead taking down our internet connection.

Anyone considering a robust, quality, built to last industrial/commercial grade switch better avoid this one!

D-link quality is terrible, nothing but junk as the are cheaply built in China and/or Taiwan. Avoid D-link.
