I purchased the D-Link DIR-615 (Rev E) to replace/upgrade an older D-Link wireless G router that had been in service for about six years. This version (Rev E) of the DIR-615 is rock steady with no drop outs. It works fine in mixed mode connected to both my G devices and N devices. I see no performance issues when connected to both types of devices at the same time. Our Wii and Mac Airbook connect via G wireless and the Dell laptop and wireless WiFi Blu-ray player connect via N wireless. The set up was easy and straight forward. I did not use the supplied set up CD. I went into the set up via my browser by entering the address of the router. For the price, this is a great N router.

used one for 5 years never had a minutes trouble plays well with all wireless
and wired my network has 8 devices so i used all 4 ports used one to connect to switch to carry the rest of devices plays well with netflix roku box and my dvr
never had a drop out range was exceptional for wireless devices could use laptop up to 300 feet from router no problem router was inside behind brick wall when i tried this with laptop in front yard

I looked up the model at dd-wrt.com, and new that is what I was going to use prior to hitting the purchase button. It flashed very easy, and runs dd-wrt flawlessly. All my N devices connect in a flash, as well as the old wifi G laptop and other items. Nice and stable without the stock firmware, and fast. I am very pleased with this purchase. At $15 for an N 300 router that runs dd-wrt, what's to complain about?

The Amazon purchase was easy and I received the router only a couple of days after ordering it. I was excited to install it and enjoy using both computers online again. I followed the install disk and failed. I tried again and it said I needed to reset the router to factory presets. No instructions as to how to do this. Found a button marked reset and pushed it. Tried again and another hour of frustration. Let it sit for two days. In desperation, I read the manual. I could follow the first half of the manual but when they got to the PPPoE and etc, I was lost. Plugged the power into the router and waited for it to stabilize the lights indicating, I think, that it was booted up. I pressed and held the reset button this time until the lights again stabilized into a pattern that didn't change. I unplugged the router and again inserted the install disk. I followed the install instructions and this time I was successful. It was easy and no problems. I guess that as a refurbished unit, it needed to be reset correctly to work. Love it now.

couldnt be simpler to use and the price is right for basic wireless connection. I havent recieve this one yet. I already own one and purchased this one to give to a family member.

I bought this and it hasn't worked at all. It can not keep an internet link and it passes nothing through to the network. Refurbished they say, but it doesn't work. Will get my money back.

At first, it had serious problems. The speed was dramatically slowing down as days passed by.
Then i did firmware update and the problem fixed.
Now it works fine.

For a refurbished model this is not bad. I seemed to have a problem with ethernet port number 1 not functioning but the other ports work fine and the wireless function is excellent. There is a minor amount of interference with my radio land line phone when I get close to the router. Overall the router is great especially for the price of $30.00.

I used to get get bumped off the internet when more than six of my neighbors logged on or when I had more than five devices hooked up. With my refurbished D-Link DIR-615, I have not been bumped off since.

Sorry! I never had to write a bad review before, however D-Link Dir-615/RE left a bad taste. Kept dropping signal and then froze up and could not do anything, pushing reset button did nothing. Sent back to Amazon and they refunded my money. I did not want another one and have problems again, it was a Refurbished and I felt like it was not fixed
at the start!
