This tri-mode, dualband adapter gives your laptop PC a versatile way to wirelessly connect to any one of three available wireless networks -- 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11a that operate in two discrete, non-interfering frequency bands: 2.4GHz and 5GHz. DWL-AG660 is backwards compatible with all your existing 802.11b-compliant devices. Now, using the 802.11g, wireless data transfer speeds can reach up to 108Mbps. The 802.11a wireless standard on the 5GHz band also transfers up to 108Mbps in a frequency range that does not interfere with the other standards.

It made my PC slow and the driver created a conflict with the system, not to mention that the signal connection is unstable. So unhappy with this product!!! I had to install Windows again.

Yea, this card crashes my system also. I once found a stable fix but had to reinstall windows and now am looking for it again...so far without success. This card sucks bad.

This wireless card works incredibly well! I wasn't really sure what to get as this is the first laptop I've owned, but I am very satisfied with this purchase. I would recommend this to anyone.
