This handwriting workbook was exactly what I needed for teaching cursive to my daughter. She likes the colorful illustrations (although the photos are a little old), and the instructions are clear, easy to follow, and engaging. After a review of manuscript letters, it starts with cursive by teaching basic strokes rather than whole letters right away. It progresses through the lowercase letters, starting with those that are most like the lowercase manuscript letters and ending with those that are not like manuscript, then ends by progressing the same way through the uppercase letters.

I was very worried about teaching my son cursive for second grade. This workbook led into cursive so well that he is catching on right away as we enter into cursive! It is very easy to understand and complete.

The book is in good condition except for the fact that the first 8 pages were already done. It wasn't advertised as being used. A little disappointed.
