Is anyone else not feeling this single? JayZ is the biggest trend artist ever. Im saying this from a perspective of liking JayZ, he makes good music to an extent but he always grabs on to whats hot at the time and makes it seem like he thought of it. Auto-Tune is becoming played yes but certain artist pull it off very well, Lil Wayne being one of them and I feel like because JayZ didnt think of doing it first, its easier for him to try and jump on the "We hate Auto Tunes" bandwagon then it is to try it out. Im sure JayZ's fans listen to artist that use Auto Tune (Kanye West, T-Pain, most recently Twista). Anyway, this single is exactlye what Jay has been his whole career, hype with no substance.

Much like throwbacks or any other trendy Hip-Hop topic Jay Z tends to mark its death. This time around he comes right out and says it, and while I do have to agree on the overuse of Auto-Tune in all the top #100 tracks I just can't get into this song. I did try to like it, but just couldn't.. the beat is that of a basement rap, but doesn't fit the lyrics at all. I give the song a few stars because Jay Z can flow, there is no discounting that fact. Maybe Blueprint 3 will be worlds better than this.
