"The Training Wheels Have to Go Back On, Said Father... You're Almost Ready",
By George Buttner "Agent0042" (Dayton, Ohio United States) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: D.W. Rides Again (Hardcover)
In "D.W. Rides Again!," D.W. graduates from her tricycle and begins riding an actual bicycle. D.W. has a lot to learn, but fortunately her big brother Arthur is willing to teach her. He tells her about safety rules, how to operate the bike and more. And D.W. practices. She starts learning tricks and becomes really good at it. But then --- D.W. wants to remove her training wheels. What will happen?
Another charming story featuring Arthur's sister D.W. D.W. shows how to be "can-do" and work to learn to be good at something. The illustrations nicely convey the action and have a sweetness to them as well.
