Buena Vista (the company that releases Disney films on DVD) chose to not release anamorphic DVDs when they first came to DVD, so none of these films are anamorphically enhanced. This means, if you have a widescreen television, you will have black bars on all four sides of the picture. Also, these discs are absolutely barebones, only featuring a Dolby 2.0 soundtrack and a 1.85:1 widescreen presentation. Where are the extras?! I don't know about you guys, but I am a Mighty Duck fan who is disappointed by the DVD releases of these films.

These films are great for the whole family.

My family enjoyed them not only because we love hockey, but because the comedy is very good. You get a little of everything for everyone. There is a love interest for the females, comedy to keep it going; life lessons...you have to work hard and persistance and dedication to a goal are the key ingredients for success...win at all costs is not winning at all. And the hockey action is pretty darn good.

The kids will love to play these DVDs over and over again. Overall, for the price, this is a pretty darn good way to spend a buck for your entertainment value.

Fun for all ages!!

I think the best part about the Mighty Ducks is the way they stick with you. My sister and I have loved these movies since they first came out (and we were quite young at the time) until now and I'm sure the characters and thier stories will hold a special place for us always.

The Ducks teach you not only about hockey but lessons that are really important in life...like how sports are GAMES, and games are supposed to be fun. They teach you you need to work hard to get what you want and that being an individual is more important that following an certain image, but more importanly the Ducks teach you about teamwork.

The Mighty Ducks movies are basically fantastic. At times a bit corny, but always fun to watch. I gave this DVD and these films 5 stars because they deserve it.

I don't know what Disney's problem is, "Monkeys, Go Home" isn't part of the series, everyone should know that; so why did I get that movie in this set instead of D3? Are they idiots?? Or are they just trying to peddle their old crappy movies disguised as their good ones? and; IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO BURN THE RIGHT MOVIE ON THE DVD?! It's a 5 Star set, but I rate it at 1 star because they were idiotic enough to burn the WRONG MOVIE ON MY DISC 3! WAKE UP DISNEY, AND THANKS FOR RUINING MY WEEKEND!

These films are great for good, clean family fun, something that is lacking these days.Both my children have watched them many times, now my eldest is leaving home and taking his films with him, I have had to buy a set for my daughter.

Everything about the Mighty Ducks is pretty much good. The characters, the plot, and even the music these movies are great. Though the Mighty Ducks are Disney films, they contain enough content to push a PG-13 rating. Still though, teens and adults should like these movies whether you are an ice hockey fan or not. Yes, the Mighty Ducks is mainly about ice hockey but all three do a good job focusing on the characters. I know that some people didn't give good reviews for the third movie but I think that was because it didn't quite carry the "victory hype" of the first two. Also, the third Mighty Ducks film is a bit different in the sense that it shows how the hardships of life and the bad decisions that follow can have an impact on the other people around you. Plus, the message of the third movie is that change happens throughout life and you must learn how to deal with it. So to sum all of that up, don't expect the 3rd movie to be exactly similar with the first two but do keep an open mind when viewing because the Mighty Ducks 3 is good for what it is. Without question, Mighty Ducks 3 ends the trilogy. I still wish that a 4th movie had been made following the events of the last movie. By the way, I suggest getting the soundtracks for the 2nd and 3rd Mighty Ducks. It's ashame the first movie didn't have a soundtrack.

If I would have read C. Leonard's review, I would have known to pass on this
series. Monkeys Go Home ruined this for me too. I gave it as a gift and was
amazed to receive a call telling me that Monkeys Go Home was in the Mighty
Ducks 3 movie case. Well, must be an accident, right?!? I sent the first set back and just received the replacement complete with the Monkeys Go Home movie in the third case!!!!

Save your money folks....this is not the place to buy a boxed set of Mighty
Duck movies!!

D2..The Mighty Ducks are back is the best movie ever. Emilio Estevez gives a performance that is Oscar worthy. His portrayal of the determined Gordon Bombay is nothing short of breath-taking. Emilio completely becomes Gordon Bombay in his most convincing role to date. Aside from Emilio, a young Joshua Jackon (aka Pacey from Dawson's Creek) shows glimpses of superstardom in his role as the young, caring Charlie Conway. When Charlie is willing to give up his role on the Ducks for the teams good, you WILL Have goosebumps. There is a little bit of Charlie Conway in each and every one of us. This movie also has loads of comedy. First off- The opening scene when they rollerblade through the Mall of America is..in a word..hilarious. Also- A young Kenan (of Nickelodeon fame) introduces the Knuckle Puck in this movie! The action and the laughs never stop in this movie which in a nutshell defined the 1990's and set the standard for all movies.

It happens very seldom that a sequel doesn't flop and disappear in comparison to its predecessor.

D2, however is one of the few that hold strong with the original Mighty Ducks film. Most of the young stars return in this film, and those who do not are replaced by much more interesting team members, including a bash brother and a hog-tying cowboy.

Emilio Estevez returns as hockey coach Gordon Bombay who's returned to the Ducks after an injury in the minor leagues which has prevented a future in the NHL, although he is quickly back on his feet when he is asked to be the coach for the USA team in the Goodwill games. With the infusion of a few new players, some exciting new drills and a lot of hard work the ducks are back in action and ready to kick some Iceland butt!

A little more silly then the first, but still packs in a lot of fun!

This isn't so much a product review, but I'm just letting people know that I recently got my copy of the boxed set and it appears they fixed the D3 problem where it used to have the wrong movie burned onto the DVD.

I was a little scared there after reading some of the other reviews, but my boxed set is just fine and dandy.
