Being from Southern California , we don't find the pamphlet forms that these devotional readings can apparently be available in.
I guess they are often found in restaurants, coffee chops etc.. in the North Eastern US . (According to here-say) Thankfully these have been bound together in book form so those of us who never knew of them can have the opportunity to now spend some truly high quality devotional time with the Creator. I personally like simple, straightforward, messages that get to the heart of the matter being discussed. The daily readings in this book provide just that! It's simple, you are given a passage of scripture to read, then, you have a story from somebody's modern life experience, and a prayer to follow. Not hard, not too time consuming, just right for the person on the go , or the person who is at home and finds the daily chores of living to be overwhelming. (Can you say "AGG! Not another of the cat's hair balls?") In a world where it becomes increasingly difficult to find 'shoot from the hip' Christian food for thought, this book delivers just what's needed for the day that can often require so much of our time. Now one can have the time to feel spiritually refreshed every day. I was searching for quite some time for a decent daily devotional. The search is over, thank you Father, Son & Holy Spirit for the folks who put this clear, concise, book together.

I'm so glad i ordered this devotional book from amazon, i absolutely love it. Each day brings our new ways to become closer and closer to God, i truly feel my relationship with God has strengthened since I started using this. It helps you become more familiar with the Bible and is the perfect devotional book. I spent a lot of time trying to find a good devotional book. I"M SO HAPPY I FINALLY FOUND THE PERFECT ONE :)
