3.0 out of 5 stars It was just okay
I wish there was more about God in it, I felt like it was just a story on a page, not enough reflection to the bible or God in general like I hoped it would be. I was disapointed. If you want a good devotional try devotions for moms by ellen banks elwell, not this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars LIKE HAVING A DAILY CHAT WITH YOUR SISTER, June 12, 2005
This review is from: DAILY WISDOM FOR MOTHERS (Paperback)
Do you know a mom who could use a little pick-me-up? How about a whole year of encouragement? Then give her DAILY WISDOM FOR MOTHERS.

I love this book! Michelle is such an inspiration for all of us women who are busy raising our young families. She lets you peek into her busy, sometimes crazy life, giving you the support you need by pointing to her source of strength, God's Word.

The book contains 365 short devotions and is meant to be read every day...but I found I often read several in one sitting because they're just so FUN to read! Each month focuses on a specific theme, such as casting your cares, loving unconditionally, having a thankful heart, dreaming big, taming the tongue, and giving your kids to God.

Michelle writes, "With God, all things are possible -- even raising good kids in a mixed-up world. God doesn't expect mothers to have all the answers, but He does expect us to go to Him...He not only has the answers, He IS the answer!"

After reading this book for a few weeks, you'll feel a spirit of refreshment in your life, and your positive attitude will overflow joy in the lives of those around you. If you buy one to give as a gift, don't miss out by not buying one for yourself!

5.0 out of 5 stars This ia MUST have for every mom!, February 10, 2005
Once I read this devotional, I bought one for every one of my friends and family that are moms....young and old. I gave these gifts to each of them on mothers day. It was a huge blessing in my life and I just had to share it. The topics discuss the hopes, dreams, trials and challenges that every mom has faced or will face and provides clear scripture to walk us through these issues and give you HOPE - not to mention a laugh or two as you read and realize that someone else's home is NOT like Ward and June!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Devotional that is easy to keep up with!, February 27, 2007
As a busy mom with little free time, this devotional provides the perfect way to squeeze in some quiet time every day! The scriptures are applicable to every day life and there is a space to reflect your own thoughts on each page. It only takes a few minutes and if you miss a day it's so easy to catch up. Great gift for a new mom!

4.0 out of 5 stars love message, but preview not entirely accurate, October 20, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Love this book. Just letting buyers know that if you click the preview key, it is not entirely accurate. The text is smaller and set to the side. One side is journalling. Great if you like to journal. I would like to reread each year, so I would rather text cover the page as the preview shows. I had previewed a friend's book with only the text and enjoyed that layout (personally) better.

Every day with a short piece of message concerning the thoughts and difficulties encountered by mothers with Bible verses as reminder and encouragement, is suitable for busy mothers as a daily refreshment and renewal in God.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great way to start your day!, May 17, 2008
This review is from: DAILY WISDOM FOR MOTHERS (Paperback)
Okay, I'm not always ready to jump straight into the Bible at 6:30 a.m. But Michelle Medlock Adams eases me into my day. She starts each daily reading with one Bible verse, then tells a story about her own life. She doesn't make herself out to be a supermom or superChristian. She's real. I like that.

Lots of her devotionals offer great ideas that have improved my relationship with Jesus. She suggests keeping a prayer notebook, where you write down your prayer requests and then jot down the answers God gives. It's so cool to see how and when God answers our prayers.

Another thing I like about this book is its size -- you can easily slip it into your purse or laptop case and take it with you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Devotional, April 27, 2008
By
This review is from: DAILY WISDOM FOR MOTHERS (Paperback)
I have long been looking for a daily devotional for mothers. This book has a daily devotion that is applicable to every mother. The devotions are quick, easy to read, and contain a short prayer at the end. I highly recommend this book. I'll be buying it for every baby shower and for birthdays to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars A nice little pick me up to read during your day., January 8, 2008
At my baby shower, I received this as a gift. It was perfect. And so I bought this for my sister-in-law, mother of three. Whom I know will enjoy this book very much.
