Patent formula produces a fast-moving story featuring Chrissy as lonelyhearts columnist ``Aunt Fanny.'' Her efforts to match-make for her shy Dear Cousin result in one disaster after anotherstolen rabbits, boring '50s dances, some inept sleuthing. This one takes a bit longer to get airborne than usual for this series, but it's good clean fun with lots of laughs. The intense pressures of preparing for a professional ballet career sink Caroline's romance with Alex, keep her from having any fun, and almost short circuit her nervous system in The Last Dance . She solves the problem by dumping ten years of lessons. Her parents miraculously understand and she gets over Alex and starts enjoying herself. There's nice interplay between Caroline and her farm-bred cousin Chrissy and plenty of conflict, but the resolutions are unnaturally neat, rapid, and uncomplicated.
