3.0 out of 5 stars A Disappointing Plane, April 8, 2011

I expected this plane to be bigger (about 12"), but it is only 6" long. The painting is cool, but it is really lightweight plastic. I should have gone to an airplane store to see this plane before I bought it online.

My son, 12, who is passionate about model airliners, has been waiting impatiently for this plane to arrive. He was very disappointed, as was I, to see that it's lightweight plastic, and no wheels. He has ordered many airplanes in the past, in this +$20 pricerange, and they have all been metal, more detailed and have the tiny wheels. Perhaps we missed it but I didn't see anyhting about this plane being lightweight plastic. We almost returned it but he has decided to keep it anyway. I'm sure this plane won't last long, the quality looks cheap. Oh well, next time we'll order a Gemini plane instead!
